I have received a few questions regarding products in development, specifically the Chassis Power Module (CPM1). This product is intended to be a "one size fits all" DC-DC converter. It seems that DC-DC converters
are typically under powered and require "jury-rigging" to keep them working. Almost always an aux
battery is required because the converter cannot handle all the load required or because it's quiescent current is high
enough to drain the traction pack. The Hot Juice Electric CPM1 is intended to stand alone and work with your EV as it
"grows". "Stand alone" means it doesn't require an aux battery or cut out relay and it operates
all the time even while charging. Its input connects directly to the traction pack and its output connects to the chassis
system then you forget about it. You could even jump start an ICE car with it.
As already mentioned in previous posts, development is slow because my time is being dominated with BEQ1 production.
But, it is all in the process of progress. As BEQ1 production becomes more efficient, more time can be spent on other
products. Patience! It's coming!
Keep the Grin!
